  1. Step 3: Serve with a garnish of fresh mint and a squeeze of fresh lime, enjoy!

Hint: this refreshing drink is a crowd pleaser, so invest in a beverage dispenser for guests to help themselves, and there will be fewer jug refills!

Substitutions and Variations

  • Alcohol - if you like your refreshing drinks alcoholic, add vodka or gin to the mix
  • Lemon - a lemon lime and mint mix is also nice, if you enjoy the combination
  • Sweet - add a little simple syrup to the mix if you want a sweeter drink. I like to add simple syrup when also adding vodka to the mix, its much easier for me to drink

Equipment

Cocktail making equipment is great to have, but honestly the handle of a wooden spoon works great as a muddler. But, if you enjoy a cocktail or mocktail making moment, invest in a good quality set, this set look amazing!

Storage

Make a couple of jugs in advance and keep them in the fridge for up to 2 days. Always mix well and add garnishes as you serve the drink.

Top Tip

Mint grows like crazy, make the most of it and freeze mint leaves in ice cubes to use for this refreshing drink. Its a great way to save on mint and then add it to this drink or any drink as you want.
