Sage and Parmesan Cheese Twists

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 15-20 sage leaves
  • 1 C parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ C flour, for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180℃ and line a baking tray with baking paper, set aside.
  2. On a lightly floured board, place one sheet of puff pastry. Cover the pastry with the sage and parmesan cheese, then layer the second sheet of puff pastry on top.
  3. Gently press the top pastry layer into the bottom layer. Using a large chef knife, cut the layered pastry sheet in half, horizontally.
  4. Then cut both of those pieces into sticks, approximately 16 sticks for each half. Before placing on the baking tray, take each individual stick, and twist in your hands before placing on the tray.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!
